I get hundreds of emails a day but this one email stuck out and said “share me!” These are helpful ideas that you can use in your everyday life. There are several that I have already tried, so I know they work. I will be sharing these over multiple posts, so stay tuned for more. Please make sure to share to your lists!
INFO ABOUT CLOTHES DRYERS (important) – The lint filter is made of a mesh material. Dryer sheets cause a film over that mesh and that is what burns out the heating element and can also burn your house down. It’s what is in the dryer sheets to make your clothes soft and static free. You know how they can feel waxy when you take them out of the box; well this stuff builds up on your clothes and on your lint screen. You can’t see the film, but it’s there. You can test to see if your lint filter is blocked by running hot water over it. The hot water will sit on top of the mesh. To keep your dryer working for a very longtime (and to keep your electric bill lower) take that filter out and wash it with hot soapy water and an old toothbrush (or other brush) at least every six months. This will also extend the life of the dryer.

Store your opened chunks of cheese in aluminum foil. It will stay fresh much longer and not mold!
