Different Country–Different Life Skills?

Last year I purchased a “give-away day” for a contest in the Big Aussie Give-Away day. The giveaway was to be here in the United States, however things changed and the giveaway was hosted in Australia. It was very interesting to read the comments from the entrants that wanted to win my book, The 4-1-1 on Life Skills.

I’m excited to hear how our cultures may differ in regards to what we teach our kids. Are safety issues different? Are the areas to be cleaned (and how often) different in Australia than that of those in the United States? The winner stated she is excited to read the book and see what differences there are. I am hoping that she will leave a post on Amazon or this blog on what her comparisons were.

No matter what city or country, life skills are a must that we need to pass onto our children. It’s the little things in life that we take for granted and don’t even think about teaching. Things like changing the filters once a month, whether it be an air conditioner filter or a vacuum filter. And, making sure to read the expiration dates on foods and medications – especially before consumption!

Keep an eye out for review! It should be interesting!
